We briefly prepared for the trip tomorrow and chipped some ice off of the front sidewalk but the day was geared for 3 things, 2 meals and watching curling...
We met cousins Mac and Elaine again at a place called Flats. They had a variety of meals available and I chose the Hamburger Steak. Delicious again! We always have something to talk about as we know so many people in common and Elaine has such an encyclopedic mind for remembering details. It is always such a delight to catch up with them.
Canada beat the Czechs 6-4 in the afternoon draw and are in tough tonight against Norway in the World Curling Championships in Las Vegas.
Supper was reserved at Maurice's friend Tina's place. Butter chicken, Indian-style, on rice was delicious and went very good with special bread and a lemon Meringue pie that we had brought. It is so nice to be with people of like minds in so many things, including travel and Oldies music.
We were also entertained by 2 competing squirrels at the bird feeder. One was very adventurous in jumping from the tree onto the feeder.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
