The day was supposed to be simple, starting with a lunch meeting with Russ and Angie who came to pick up some stuff that I found for them.. Since it was their 5th Anniversary as a great couple, I treated them to halibut and chips at Mr Spud's, which was luckily open on this Good Friday.
Then we went to try to find a large garbage can for Paul at Costco like I had bought at PriceSmart in Colombia that I really like. No such luck, but I did buy some travel mugs, electrical gadgets, and a couple of gift items. I called Dawn to see if anything was needed for the planned meals tonight and tomorrow, and got the surprising news that our plans were all suddenly altered, and that we had to vacate our existing residence!
After a quick cry for help, my lovely sister Leonie came to get me, we did a little grocery shopping, and I am now ensconced comfortably in the foothills of the Rockies which we still can't see becuse of the low cloud to the west. Spending the Easter weekend with family will be wonderful... Looking forward to that.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
