Friday was a complete day of rest with lots of naps. Part of the reason for that is I started a new book that I was hesitant to read, "The Mammoth Hunters", written by the "Clan Of The Cave Bear" author. I didn't think that I would like it but I can only put it down when my eyes are falling. It is a complete surprise.
Oh, by the way, me experimental weed-whacker was a bust, the cordless drill does not have the turning speed required. I will have to try with my large corded electric drill sometime later.
Today was mostly induced stress at having to go to a 7pm memorial mass for Christian, almost one year after the date of his murder (confirmed, and his poisoning is being investigated). The mass was arranged by Carlos' mother. We picked up the other grandma, Ana Julia along with niece Natalia and sat a few rows back. I was really scared as to what possible reaction Cristina may have. Her almost smiling demeanor shocked the heck out of me. She was happy to see the many relatives who did come to pay their respects and was very cordial.
Wednesday is the actual anniversary so we are hopeful that that day will pass easy as well, although it is certain we will spend more time at the cemetery.
