It was such a nice clear sky after 5am as I was walking the dogs and I could see Orion to the south-southeast.  This is the third or fourth time that I recall seeing Orion so brightly in the last few days and it always makes me flashback to a cold January night walking to altar boy practice with father George when I was very young.  Orion was so clear and bright, along with Sirius at the heel and Orion has always been my favourite ever since.
Well I had my appointment with 2 neurologists and 2 students this morning and didn't exactly get the answers I wanted.  I was hoping that traction might be the answer to unblocking my offended nerve(s), and it yet might be in the probable extended physiotherapy that will be recommended.  They say that time and extended physio are the only things that will help now, everything else looks fine.  But they did say that I am to continue the Gabapent pills and bump them up to 3 per day.  Now I have an appointment with the surgeon September 4 and they have sent him their notes....
Cristina is sharing the chores to walk the 5 dogs which is helpful.   We are also noticing that Andrea the Giant Hummingbird is becoming a regular visitor again. One of these days I will have to try a photo shoot once the sun is overhead in a few weeks...
I did a couple of my chores but skipped uploading photos today because it is so time-consuming,.. and Cristina wanted to go to the Colombian restaurant near Gustavo's, so off we went.
First we just stepped outside with the new dog, Buddy, and a surly-looking Turi was watching from the 2nd floor bedroom.... The jealousy is not a big thing, but it is there...
I called Gustavo and he joined us for a decadent breakfast, although he just had a juice because he is being very strict with his diet.  I wish that I had his willpower, but I guess a cardiac scare can do that for you.
Then we walked over to Calle Larga (Long Street) and walked all the way west.  We stopped in a few shops on the way and noted many that are gone or changed location.  We also kept running into acquaintances who were also enjoying the sunshine.
When we went to catch the #13 in our usual spot our friend gary said that he had already been waiting 1/2 hour and neither the 13 or 20 had gone by.  Then someone said that we had to go back to Calle Large to catch it so we got there just as one arrived.
We actually will probably have a second Blog today about the expat meeting concerning the IESS and Visa rules,.. then the Herederos ride.  Yes, I am feeling tired, but better.
I hope you enjoy the photos. That was the day’s excitement.
Cheers, Al

She makes quite a stir with those big wings

She is quite a colorless but still impressive gal
