I had a discussion with the physiotherapist today because I wanted the Shock Wave therapy in lieu of the TENS machine but he says that their protocol is a minimum of 5 days between those treatments. So, instead he put me on the cold packs for 15 minutes or so before doing multiple stretching and weight exercises. I only have 2 more sessions before I see another doctor to discuss some other strategies... I really want to try traction...
I took a few photos of the dogs using my new Motorola phone which does certainly as good as the small Lumix with a similar 12MP power. Actually I am very impressed with the quality of the shots but still miss the options I have when processing RAW photos from the big camera. JPG shots just don't cut it. The fog photo is from the Canon, and the photo of me is from Gustavo's phone. The rest are from the Motorola.
We had a quick lunch and just went to El Centro for something to do. Almost immediately Cristina found a street clothing vendor and bought 2 fleece jackets for $10. We did a lot of window shopping including several jewelry and leather boot shops. I did manage to drag her into some electronic shops as well.
I decided to stop into the Governor's building to see if they had any art on display. To my delight they had photos and artworks from Peter Dudar (of St Paul, Alberta) and his spouse Sally Marr. They really have some wonderful stuff to show off.
We stopped at the small Colombian restaurant on Gran Colombia and had a single empanada and a coffee. They gave us the directions to the other Colombian restaurant we used to frequent called Trigales and, lo and behold, it was about 4 doors from Gustavo's place. So we caught Gustavo at home and he came to join us for a bite, then we went to his place.
I thoroughly enjoyed his 58" TV from his "Cadillac" Shiatsu chair with music and all. Then we went to his computer and downloaded photos, and one of his videos, from our fateful trip of Nov 30/16. I do owe Gustavo for protecting my life that day after my accident. I will do a special post for those photos, and the funny video, after I have finished processing them.
I hope you enjoy the photos. Sorry that Google has fouled up my order... That was the day’s excitement.
Cheers, Al
