Last night Canada's Women's Soccer team easily beat Haiti 3-1.
Today, I whiled away the time until Don finally joined me to visit Bob's place, enjoy a multi-dish beef supper and dessert. Bobby really went all out to provide a great meal for his 2 best friends.
We had enough time to enjoy the courtyard below with all the lovely flowers while the guys smoked in the gazebo specifically set aside for that awful purpose...
Back upstairs, we were on pins and needles for almost 4 hours as our Oilers somehow outshot, and ultimately outscored the Florida Panthers 4-3 in Overtime, despite being outplayed most of the game. 3 more wins and the Stanley Cup is ours once again.... It apparently has been 32 long years since a Canadian team last won the Cup! That is disgraceful...
So now we are back home, hoping to get a decent sleep before another trip tomorrow...
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
