The Oilers played an absolutely embarrassing game on Monday night...  One can only hope that they regain their senses and poise and competitive spirit by Thursday night.

Tuesday I did not accomplish much out of the ordinary except to close my last bank account that scammers had access to.  Hopefully all that mess is in the rearview mirror.

Tuesday night, Wednesday morning, I grabbed the D5600 and the P1100 to try to get shots of the Strawberry Moon that was supposed to rise somewhere between 11:28 pm and 1:30pm....   Either it did not rise when I was out there or it was so completely hidden behind the blanket of smoke from the forestfires.  Personally, I think the timing I found online was all wrong...  So I got a few night shots of downtown with the D5600 while I was out there....

Wednesday, I went to the Library to exchange ther last Jack Reacher novel (I have read the whole series except the newest, which is not yet available) for 3 others, 2 by Danielle Steel, and one by James Patterson.

As usual, my time is spent watching sports or movies while reading my books.  I watched a great old movie, For Whom The Bell Tolls, last night.

Today was supposed to be a French Club50+ outside picnic, but smoke and drizzle forced them to move indoors at the St Thomas church with games and a box lunch.  My cousin, Jeanne, also joined the club to be able to practice her French and she enjoyed the afternoon immensely.  I taught her how to play Cribbage again when we were joined with another player named Marianne.

And I got to reacquaint myself with the senior executives of both Club50+ and the FAFA (another French group).

We also got more information on an upcoming seminar tomorrow at 1pm on Senior Memory, so I will try not to forget to attend, lol.

Also, I think that I may join their pickleball league now.  I know every friend I have that plays the game loves it...  They play Tuesdays and Thursdays....

And they will soon have classes for people like me who have forgotten much of their French (mine is all confused with Spanish now).

So now we wait to see which Oiler team will show up tonight for game 4....

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
