Gee, Friday night to Saturday morning I slept 12 straight hours and, even then, I did not want to get up... Rainy, cool weather for a week just makes me want to curl up,...... which I did all day Saturday with a good book and sports, and 3 movies in the background, 2 being old James Bond/Sean Connery action flics.
Sunday, the plan had been to go with Bob to "Pets In The Park" at Buena Vista Park, some 55 blocks away. But it was still cool and Bob's back would have given out going that distance, feeling every sidewalk crack.... And, I was waiting for a Temu delivery...
So, Bob came up for a while, our friend Roy joined us and we watched mostly baseball for a couple of hours, then Bob went home. 5 minutes later, my Temu delivery showed up, and an hour after that, Don came to join us... That all helped to pass the day nicely.
In my Temu order I had received a couple of faucet sprayer attachments and I had got one for Bob, because his apartment did not supply one... So Bob invited me for a delicious sliced roast beef supper with french fries and veggies. He is a good cook....
While waiting to go there, I had filled up with gas, got some cash at the bank, and cruised Dollarama to pick up a few things. I had run into another friend, Bernie, outside our Manoir as I was leaving. He had just gotten out of hospital and recently had cataract surgery but complained that he could not read yet. I explained to him that his vision will be clear from 20 inches to 200 feet but he would not be able to read without reading glasses.... So I picked him up a new pair, and another one for myself.
I keep picking up all kind of things to protect my lumbar and my back. And I have another Temu order coming with more for me and Bob.
From tomorrow we are supposed to have nice weather for a good while.
My P1100 camera does not get much exercise from my window...
