Well, we had a lovely 25C sunny day today so we made the most of it!
Bob rode east and I met him en route to Churchill Square so I could show him the happenings at Groundworks. Of course, Tracey and Thor were there again and it was funny watching Thor trying to get in the shade under Bob's legs...
I did a little more exploration of a couple of exhibits, one with a few lovely photographs.
One of our musicians from Blues On Whyte, Braden Gates, was to play on the stage there at 4pm but we did not wait, as Bob decided he wanted to go to the actual Blues On Whyte..!
So we passed by the Alberta Legislature on the way and made our way to listen to Leo Martinez and have a couple of beers. It is such a pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
At the next table were a bunch of Spanish-speakers from 5 different countries. One of the fellows was from Bogota, Colombia.
We stopped next a couple of blocks away for $6.99 pizza and pop at Papa Murphy's. It is a delicious 3-topping pizza for such a small price. They apparently are making changes to be more of the Freshii brand on Monday but we sure hope they don't eliminate the pizza offering...
It is supposed to be a nice week except for maybe thunderstorms Wednesday night and rain Thursday morning. We will gladly take it all as part of a nice beginning to summer.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. I FINALLY figured out how to make it upload in order!!! That was the day’s excitement.
