Tuesday June 3, 2025

I had to cook Monday night so I decided I may as well make my favourite meal, fried hamburger, mashed potatoes, creamed corn with bread and butter...  Hard to beat...

Today, I decided that it was time that I went for groceries again at No Frills and spent only $155.21, which is not much for food to last me around a month...  I have cupboards full of canned and packaged food.

When I unpacked, I then decided to take advantage of Senior's Week free entrance to the Royal Alberta Museum.  The building is where the old Canada Post depot was, where my Sister-in-law, Kaye, worked for many years.  The big display at the museum was all about the Killer Whales, the Orcas, who patrol our west coast.  I did not do too much other walking about as I got tired pretty quick after shopping.

I just sat down at home again and received a call from Bob.  He was coming over with a Safeway Tuesday special of 2 pieces of chicken for $2.  It was delicious!  Don had been mentioning this special to me for some time but I almost never go to Safeway...

I took my 2025 Season Ticketholder badge along with my Elks shirt to Lorraine Beaudry upstairs because she is a seamstress and maybe even a shirttail cousin...  She went to work on it right away.

Soccer tonight and Oilers hockey tomorrow....

Hugs to everyone.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
