This is a selfie taken by our new acquaintance Tracey A. yesterday and sent to my niece, Dawn. I still cannot get over this crazy coincidence!
I hear the theme from The Twilight Zone....
Today, I arose at noon again after a late night reading. I am tempted every morning to just skip my exercises, but I always force myself to do them and am so grateful afterwards for my good health and mobility. I am even able to lift that left arm up to my head now,... after a year....
I watched a bit of a disastrous BlueJays game before heading out for a rendezvous in St. Albert. On the way I stopped at Marianne's resting place but arrived 15 minutes after closing time. We never forget the good times we had.
I continued to St.Albert and had 1/2 hour to spare, and Save-On Foods was in the same lot, so I went grocery shopping for my salad ingredients, milk, eggs, TP and popcorn.
And I still got to Swiss Chalet before Donald and Tracy brought in my buddy Ken Johnston for his 87th Birthday celebration. KJ and I are buddies from 1979 on, and we served many years with the Northgate Lions Club and still fondly remember our many great fishing trips in his motorhome.. Ken's mind is still sharp as he has many activities at his residence in Gibbons.
I am sure that I will encounter Tracy and Donald at the next Elks game, as they also have season tickets.A lovely get-together
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
