I got a call at 10:30am forcing me out of bed before I was ready.... My niece, Dawn, was coming to visit in 1/2 hour and we had not seen each other since our combined trips to Ecuador last December...
I think she had forgotten that I had huge pink monster slippers for her from Ecuador that she had wanted. We had coffee at Ezio Faraone Park nearby, and she giddily showed them to every passerby, and we also called our friend Gustavo in Cuenca for a nice conversation. He got to see the slippers too. We keep trying to get him to come for a visit....
The weather was very changeable this week and we can apparently expect more cooler weather for a week yet... Not a great June so far...
Bob called me because he found a place with Wednesday Wings for 60c each near his place, so we met there at 6pm and watched BlueJays baseball and Concacaf soccer in this bar. The wings were good, on the small side again, but we enjoyed them along with a Coors Lite.
I am still a little stiff from the Pickleball yesterday but should be good to go for tomorrow's session....
There is a spot downstairs where people can leave goods to give away. Today I found 2 Clive Cussler novels to read!
I hope you enjoy the pictures,(Backwards, again). That was the day’s excitement.
