Last night, we had a nice rain, today a cloudy walk, a sunny morning and a heavy afternoon rain. The lawncutter Leonel was summoned last week..

I went in and spent 5 hours with David. He is alone on Sundays so company is appreciated. Ever more so, he is convinced that his time on earth is short. Igor will be back in a week or so to visit again and keep him company. Igor sent some amazing photos from the last few days, enjoying the motorbike trip in this beautiful country.

I slipped out to LA14 centre and got a big lunch for the 2 of us at Mr Wok, just over $10 USD for sumptuous meal with rice and Iced Tea left over. It is nice to have an outside meal once in a while.

The rain has somehow penetrated to the ceiling in the main hallway with many drips happening. We are fortunate as to the construction of the celing, plastic panelling, but, of course, there is no way I am taking that apart to look. We need the whole roof above looked at, so we need a roof tile expert to re-arrange all the tiles properly. Many tiles have slipped above the patio as well. Time to bite the bullet.

It was pretty soggy when we went for our walk this morning so it was cut a little shorter. It is definitely a lot quieter when it is very wet.

Cristina finally received the RedBubble skirt I ordered for her so she wore it right away. It seems to be excellent quality, Lycra, so we are happy with the purchase. It looked really good on her. She chose the Winking Owl artwork herself.

I took Cristina, Claudia and Daniel to bring an old male dog with chest tumours for ultrasound testing in Tulua. Everyone was concerned that he had more inside but the ultrasound says otherwise. I believe that surgery is happening next. I call the dog "Viejito", meaning "little old man".

While that was happening I walked up the street and paid for my March health insurance. It was only a block away and another thing stroked off the list.

The Golden Silk Spiders are really procreating in the backyard. There seems to be more and more of them whenever I look. I got more pretty decent shots for you today. No sign of Tom Thumb.

I cooked up some sausages that I had bought at Andaluz market. These were smoked, and really not bad, so I guess that is the secret. Smokies were always my favourite in Canada.

David was asking if I wanted to learn how to download movies myself and offered for me to come with my computer and he would set it up. Nice of him to offer. I told him that I had Torrent and magnet loaded, I just needed practice, so I did that today. I think that I have it figured out. My biggest problem is that I am looking for pretty old movies that not many others are looking at today. If nobody is "seeding". there is no download available. Even though I am using a slightly different download parent, we are both getting the same options out of Pirate Bay. I downloaded 2 already that I really wanted (The Quiet Man and The Scarlet And The Black) and have 3 more downloading very slowly (Remo Williams, Cast A Giant Shadow, and Slap Shot). I am learning as I go. I am trying a different torrent place to get Cast a Giant Shadow now. I am determined to watch that movie!

There is another series that I recall enjoying called Pillars Of The Earth, and the whole series is available with good seeding. I think that will be next.

5:45pm and we got a really nice downpour. 28.4C in the house.
