Both Negro and Charlie were out to greet us on our walk this morning which we started at 4:30am because a couple of the dogs were restless.  I was very tired after all the short sleepless nights, so a quick nap was in store again after chores.

Cristina slipped out for a couple of things and came back with some potatoes to use with the leftover hamburger, which I was more than happy to cook up together.  A delightful meal, 2 days in a row is always welcomed.

The neighbour has put up another wall on that second storey structure so they can no longer view into our yard from there.  The wall is also about 20 feet high so we are more secure and private.  I am a happy camper.

We zipped into Tulua and brought a cat food donation to the lady that rescued the tiny kitten that needed a surrogate mommy.  This lady also has a cat supply store.  Cristina is so thankful that such people step up to the plate to help the defenseless critters.

Then we swung into Olympica to stock up on birdseed and livers, etc for the dogs meals.

I really don't like driving in the cities any more because the motorists, bicyclists, motorcyclists, pedestrians, dray wagons and pedestrians all have a death wish.  They have no concept about road courtesy or rules other than the Latin American "me first" philosophy.  If I wasn't a defensive driver, I don't know how many of these swerving idiots I could have maimed or killed by now.  Sheesh!

We came back to Andalucia and dropped in on Victor Hugo to give him a gift of some expensive fruit that they can't afford to get very often.  I love that young man.  He has such a sweet disposition all the time given his circumstances.

Then we got caught up with the world again before heading for a real meaningful nap with half of the dogs.  It clouded over and really booming thunder continued for 1/2 hour but with virtually no rain...  The thunder was sending most of the dogs for security under the covers.  The thunderclaps were as loud and close as I have ever heard, but almost no rain...  I can't figure that one out....

But we did get a good nap in the cool after the storm's passing and feel almost human again.  It is not often that it is 25.2C at this time of the evening.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.

Definitely one of my favourite meals.

This lady helped the kitten.

We need our wits about us to navigate in traffic.
