I look over at the new sliding gate that I fashioned, then at the garage door, and I smile at the simple things we accomplish, with proper thought, and at a reasonable price. Much of that is possible here because of the low value of the Colombian Peso and the availability of simple things at a decent value.
The neighbour is close to finishing the one wall overlooking us, ready to pour the support columns now, and still no windows, so I am happy. Now if they can keep their yappy dog off the stairs and riling up our dogs I will be happier.
Cristina went off to cut the hair of Victor Hugo, her paraplegic cousin. Small things like that save them money that they can use for other things.
Since I had a lot of time to kill today, I decided to start work uploading some of my work on Elvis photos. FAA allows uploading of 5 at once, so that is what I did for RedBubble as well. It takes a lot of thought process to do them right. I think that I have about 15 more so we will try to get these uploaded in time for Christmas shopping. My work on old Elvis photos has turned out ot be my bread-and-butter for the last year, so why not give people what they want? I got this small batch of photos from a site offering them for free so I assume that RB will not be giving me their copyright BS. Samples of the first 5 are below and they look great on most products so they will make great gifts. You can even compare products and pricing between the 2 sites.
On NetFlix I started a series "Better Call Saul" and, so far, I am enjoying it. The acting is good and the story line is developing well.
I am starting to get the travel bug. Hope that I can get away again in the next six months and not have too much trouble using the airline credits for the flights that I was forced to cancel in March.
It is 4 weeks since we took in the house papers to be ratified in Cristina's name but we were both too lazy to go today. That is one nice thing about retirement,... no rush for anything.
