Turi, our new dog, is having problems with rich food snacks, and hasn't made it outside in time. She unaccustomed to eating anything other than dog food so this rich food affects her, and not in a good way. Mariposa, on the other hand, can chomp down almost anything.
Thursday night is usually nice for a ride with my biker gang, Herederos del Paseo Cuenca Ec (check them out on FaceBook).
Other groups also gather occasionally at the Puente Roto (Broken Bridge) so it can get quite congested at our meeting time. This evening we had the ribbon gymnasts getting instruction under the bridge, then a Mini Cooper Club was beginning to arrive. They said that they have up to 30 Minis sometimes.
Tonight we had up to 17 other bikes and a wonderful ride through El Centro, to Ricaurte and the beautiful San Carlos church, then through Ucubamba to the Autopista for the return.
Since we have had new leadership in this group since the beginning of the year, the rides have been much longer, and much more interesting. Thank you.
