Gustavo and I picked up my niece Dawn at the airport at 2pm. It was amazing to me that she experienced no delays in 4 long flights and her only negative experience was in the stopover in Cancun, with rip-off prices on everything from taxis to food.
So, we showed her around the placehere, took some of her clothes to a drycleaner to be pressed, and had a roast chicken early supper.
Then we cracked my bottle of rum and we were joined by Teresa and Billy for lively conversation onone of the patios. We sat outside until 11pm because the power went out at 9pm for 2 hours....
During the day, Teresa had a crew in to cut the lawn, etc, and I was shocked to see that they were led by Blanca, who works in the kitchen at Joe's every Saturday..... Coincidences abound!
So this Blog is mainly to show off some photos taken by others. Janet Engelhard, who took over my photo gig at Joe's does an amazing job and she kindly sent me the photos which included me. Honestly, I felt like there were a lot more....
And the other photo from our trip Sunday was taken by MaryAnn.
