It was a lazy morning after chores and my right hip decided to ache and make me walk with a limp. Gosh I felt like an old man so I got the TENS machine on it and it was much better in no time.
Then I had Aram come and help cut one more tire. My little jigsaw gave up the ghost so Aram borrowed a bigger one from his landlord and made short work of the tire.
Then Cristina and I went to the Animal Park with that tire, the big truck tire, and 5 pieces of upholstery foam. Cristina quickly made another bed in the cat area and 4 beds in the second dog room. The first one for the dogs was the big truck tire and the 4 dogs immediately were vying for it. Once we had all 4 completed, they were content with whatever was available. I worried that the dogs hardly get out but apparently the indefatigable Marino lets them out for a run and to do their business. That man is a saint, and he is turning 85 years old. I don't know what they would do without him, scrounging food from restaurants for the animals and feeding them.
Next we went to visit niece Angela who was just home from hernia surgery. I was talking with Carlos' Mom who has bad knees and I let her try the TENS machine. She was impressed! When we got home I tried to order one for her but here are none on eBay and the Amazon outfit would not ship to Colombia.
Our 4th Anniversary is tomorrow and Cristina is always wanting to go to the beach so I jokingly started looking at flights to Cartagena on the Carribean coast. I was actually shocked that the prices were cheap (not realizing then that they were per person), but the good prices had stops, one for 14 hours in San Andres, an island in the Caribbean, not far from Nicaragua. Cristina said to just look at flights to there and they were $155 each. Then we found a hotel right on the beach that has an airport shuttle, wi-fi, etc and great write-ups. Claudia will look after the dogs so everything is booked to leave tomorrow at 5:43pm, coming back Tuesday night. I am almost packed already I am so excited.
Aram is here to watch UFC with me. Gotta run.
