I did some running around this morning to get inside hardware for an articulating corner door. One of the old hinges had broken off and I checked at Coral first before finding the right stuff at Kywi. Of course, being a guy, I love poking around hardware stores and only spent a hair over $20 although a few items are still in the back of my mind.

At 4pm I joined a few folks at Mark & Karen's for a welcome back shindig for the return from Cyprus of Michael and Cody Hamilton (all are photographers). I am getting very jealous that Mark & Karen are headed to Africa August 15th for a couple of months. I can't wait to see their photographs...

Then it was off to Joes' Secret Garden for the usual Saturday night fun. Tonight's offering was Sea Bass, which is always a delightful change of fare. Lots of really nice people on hand as usual and I skipped out before dessert was served as usual..

And one of the guests who I had helped out with home photos and with the Coopera payouts brought me a very nice surprise envelope tonight which was totally unexpected and appreciated.

I hope you enjoy the photos. That was the day’s excitement.
