We zipped to the vet for another injection for Mariposa today, #2 of 4. However we have painfully discovered that we must keep her under wraps and away from other dogs in the street because any excitement causes the nasal hemorrhaging to begin again, although thankfully at a much lesser rate.
Then we spent most of the day in bed trying to catch up on our sleep.
On my run into Joes Secret Garden, between rainfalls, again the traffic was painful along the Tomebamba. It is a good thing that Toxic knows how to thread his way through the backed up vehicles.
Many more new faces at Joes' tonight along with a few real old acquaintances that popped in out of the blue. John Davila helped me organize my first photography tour almost 5 years ago along with James Drummond. I did not know that he is now back in the USA working.
The pleasure in going to Joes' is to connect with so many people in such a short period of time. Over 100 people were filling their faces with the crispy fried chicken tonight and I am getting to know all of them, bit by bit.
The new owners, Ken and KP will be pleased to know that the crowd was very pleased with their culinary efforts tonight.
