I did a photo gig for my friend Dot this morning. She is looking to rent a bedroom, with or without breakfast, on AirBnB for prices that I think are way too cheap. Look at the photos and, if interested in a nice place to stay in Cuenca, let me know and I will put you in touch.
The place is a third floor "penthouse" suite (only one other suite on the second floor) with tons of elbow room and a gorgeous terrace with magnificent views.
This afternoon we were to be visited by an Ecuadorian and a Venezuelan, so guess who showed up.... you're right... Neither!
Harold from the Herederos called and delivered the alarm for Buzzer so I am trying to arrange to get that installed in the morning. This will give a little more peace of mind when I leave Buzzer parked on the street. I have seen videos where a van pulls up, 2 guys jump out, lift it inside and are gone in under 10 seconds,.. and the public is so apathetic they would do nothing... It is not a complicated alarm with numerical codes and BS, so I might actually use it...
Gotta find time to do the IVA refund for SRI this week. Ugh...
I
hope you enjoy the photos. That was the day’s excitement.
Cheers,
Al
