If anybody has any special pull with the guy upstairs, please tell him that the 40 days and 40 nights of rain seems to have an extended season here, and it is killing people with landslides and floods.
It is not fun to have to wait for the few breaks in the rain to walk the dogs but we gotta do what we gotta do.
This morning I got a tad wet when the rain started again but I did get a chance to take a photo for you of that big eucalyptus that fell over the other day. It makes me wish that I had a big chainsaw to make some good use of all that prime lumber.
Then noonish I was out with the dogs again and got that shot to the east before the heavens opened pretty much all afternoon.
Even though the rain quit in the evening and the forecast says only 10% chance for the next few hours, the Herederos don't like to ride much on the wet streets so tonight's ride was called off, darn it. I need to get out for a ride!
Rain, rain go away. Come again another day (not for a few days please).
My problems with submitting to SRI for the IVA refunds may be over because I am going to take some people's advice and let an accountant do it for a percentage, if I can ever reach them.... This last episode of inputting all the information onto a spreadsheet then having it just disappear has rankled me to no end. It would take a lot of convincing to show me that this isn't another ploy of the SRI to try to frustrate everyone out of claiming their rightful refund.
And using this Google program for this Blog just gets more frustrating every time. Even trying to send them feedback is a bit of a joke. Then the photo uploader won't work... UGH!!!! I had to copy and paste the photos and was surprised that it worked.... One of these days.......
Then I try to join my sister Leonie to sing a song on the Smule SING program. This is a big hobby of hers and she has a lovely voice, so adding my frog throat to her songs always takes patience for many retries. Tonight was just as frustrating. First I sounded awful and forget how to sing the lyrics so I had to go to YouTube to listen. Then I sounhded just as awful. Then Turi decided she had a better voice and chimed in. On the next one Cristina added a belch. Then my chair was creaking in the next try. And I never did sound any better so I just gave up on that one and tried another but hated the way I sounded, so that was enough frustration for one day. This is just one of those days where we should just have stayed in bed...
