A perfectly glorious sunny day that was just too nice to spend indoors. Our friend Ernesto from the Herederos is a silversmith and he had posted on FaceBook that he would have a booth on the side of the cathedral, so we caught the #13 to El Centro. The downtown was jumping with people because of the lovely weather as were all the buskers, photographers and salespersons. Ernesto really does intricate filigree work and Cristina bought a pair of earrings.
I caught shots of a few of the downtown churches while wandering from Padre Aguirre to Huayna Capac.
It was still early and way too gorgeous to come inside so we jumped on Toxic and headed west. We actually dipped into the Cajas range before turning back.
Then I decided to head to the Kywi hardware store near the airport for a few items. I actually found some lightbulbs on sale that were above 100 watts, a rarity here...
