Early Happy 70th Birthday to my sweet Sis Yvette. Still lookin' good!
I wasted a whole sunny day sitting and waiting for calls from the Immigration Office and my Insurance agent. Just like the watched pot never boils,... no calls... Now it looks like I will have to put all those Visa and Cedula changes on hold until August. I rail against the idiocy of the bureaucracy here with good reason.
Hearts Of Gold literally insisted that I join in their Thank You To The Volunteers pizza night at Fabiano's. It was a good thing that I showed up, because there were a lot of no-shows and a lot of good food would have gone to waste. Johanna and Maria Jose hosted the event for Hearts Of Gold and imparted the good news that the BBQ event was a success that raised in excess of $18,000.
Now the push is on to get sponsorships for children in need, ranging from $10 to $70 per month. My sponsorship for a young boy is coming up for renewal and the need is so compelling, even though I can't really afford to do it, I know in my heart that I will do the full package for my boy.
