Below are photos of the Dragonfly pendant that I have bought for Cristina.  It is in the following video taken Sept 1, Alberta Day, which shows my friend Bobby's interview at 1:07, the vendor with the Dragonfly necklace at 2:13, and Bob and I on our scooters at 2:24.

Monday was hot, 32C with a touch of rain in the evening.  Right now, we have comfortable temps for a few days until the weekend returns to 32C heat....

Tuesday, I went crazy with necessary projects...  I honestly don't know where I drank that cup of ambition..., but I kept going all day....

First, I went for groceries in the Regal at City Market near here because Bob said it was cheap....  N O T !!!!  But I did grab what I needed plus a couple of good-sized steaks for later.... it has been a long time since my last steak...

Then I changed my bedding and did all my washing....  That id too much bending for an old man!

Then I dusted the whole house.  I surprised myself, but the old bod was complaining...

By that time it was suppertime, so I had invited Bob, who declined, then Don, who accepted, to join me for a steak supper, which I dutifully cooked.  Don was very complimentary of my culinary skills, and I accept it gratefully, because he is definitely no slouch in the kitchen either...

We watched some baseball (Blue Jays gassed another big lead... Grrrr) then I made an ad for him to post downstairs to sell a full leather loveseat to make room in his apartment.  Then I posted it on Marketplace and Kijiji as well for him...  You can be sure that I slept like a log!

Today, I cut my hair again in anticipation of the coming heat wave, then I got busy with another project that needed to be done....  I separated all my camera equipment and boxed up the new Nikon D850 to be ready for sale, after taking the photos below and making a list of everything...  There is close to $6,000 worth of equipment that I am not using so I may as well sell it all while it is still new.  I have only taken 506 photos with that camera and there is no point hanging onto it to just collect dust...  I am open to offers.....

I spoke to my brother in Calgary about hopefully seeing him in a couple of weeks, but that may have to be delayed.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
