Monday, I helped Bob with an application to another apartment up the street because he is being evicted here for smoking in his apartment.
Don sold his loveseat because of the ad I posted on Facebook Marketplace on his behalf.
Bob invited me for a delicious meal of BBQ ribs with mashed potatoes and veggies. He is really a good cook!
Yesterday, Cristina's aunt-in-law passed away of old age. It was a blessing, because she had been severely infirm for some time.
I worked all day on photos, then read until1:30am again.
I did not awaken until I got a phone call around noon today and didn't actually get up until almost 1pm... 10 to 12 hours sleep is the norm now.
The news of the year is that I have finally reached my first goal weight of 200 lbs, having shed 25 lbs since February. Now, onto the next goal of 185lbs which I weighed 35 years ago....
Bob and I went to Hudson's for Wednesday Wing Night and were shocked that the special did not start until 6pm!!! The waitress was really sweet, suggesting we go to The Pint 2 blocks away, so we left. I knew that The Pint was always busy, and that we actually have one just 3 blocks from our residence! The wings are a whopping 39¢ and I swear they gave me 24 instead of 20 wings, and they were the best in town yet! Bob had been lucky gambling today so he splurged for supper.
I am still trying to get satisfactory answers from Fongo, Avianca and Air Canada for issues before I travel... Delay and passing the buck are the order of service in today's world.
