Got up late again today, did all my chores, and basically prepared to head to Blues On White with Bob at 3pm. The weather was again fantastic, and we saw many people outside in t-shirts and flip-flops. Gee, the whole winter could stay like this and we would be happy, but we truly do need some moisture.
Leo Martinez was hosting fiddler Braden Gaetz with his fiddle and quirky humour, and later hosted 19-year-old Stella Johnson who truly had a good voice.
The music is always enjoyable but the patrons here only can sing along and dance to music they know, ....like popular cover songs. Obscure songs from new singers get polite applause only and the dance floor is empty.
I took a couple of videos of the entertainment before we left early to watch the exciting Grey Cup game.....
