Welcome…..  Please note that you may try to SUBSCRIBE to this Blog on the right although many (all?) of you are not receiving the subscription emails.  It is a universal Google problem that they are finally close to solving.  Therefore I REALLY appreciate all the folks that manage to view my Blog every day.  I find it both gratifying and humbling.

Yesterday I took Princesa to the vet in the morning because she was favoring her right rear leg.  The vet says it was an inflammation in her thigh that was bothering her so after just one injection and a pill at night she was almost back to normal, praise the Lord.
I then spent the afternoon with a friend here on the computer showing her how to process photos in PhotoShop and then showed her the magic of Smart Photo Editor, which she has also purchased on my recommendation.  Needless to say, she is very excited now about using the program(s).   Since I shoot in RAW format, every photo has to be processed, and I choose to use PhotoShop CS5 for that purpose.  The Smart Photo Editor is more for making the artworks I have for sale (see above).
WOW, another 299 viewers of my last Blog.  Keep on watching folks!
I dragged the Lumix with me at 5:30 this morning because the beginnings of a spectacular sunrise were happening and it did not disappoint.  It is tough to stay motionless to take a shot though, with 3 doggies yanking at me.
Tonight was a first at Joes' Secret Garden...  No Joe or Joseph....  just Ken and Amarasiri (now to be called KP) who are now on their own, but it is a pretty seamless transition.  The staff is experienced and helpful, and Ken knows his way about a kitchen.  The new fellows are very likeable guys so I think they will do very well.
Their first solo night featured the French dish Coq Au Vin with the trimmings, and it was a winner.  Good job Ken and KP.
It was also Jaga's birthday and she gave us candles 3 and 5 to use on the cake, so we let her be 35 for a night.
I hope you enjoy the photos.  That was the day's excitement,   Cheers, Al
