Saturday October 1, 2016
See, I mentioned the rain had slowed down yesterday, so, to prove me wrong, It poured most of the night.
We had barely gotten to the Museo Pumapungo around lunchtime to see an artisanal event, mostly outdoor under tents, to benefit the homeless from the earthquake(s), and the heavens opened again.
We ran into a few friends there, including Johnny, our resident Santa Claus.  The food was good and the artworks were above grade.  Our friends Peter and Sally were taking donations to help buy locally made domed temporary homes made from recycled materals such as bicycle wheels.
We finally braved a break in the rain to make it back home, only to find that we had no internet for an hour or more.
This was a further test of the new pocket Lumix and the reviews are right, ...it does not perform stellarly in low light situations.
I hope you enjoy the photos.  That was the day's excitement,   Cheers, Al
