I was up until 1:30am reading again, finishing another Jack Reacher book. That is not a habit I want to continue... With the nice warm days coming, I would rather be up with the sun...
Well, Cody from the Elks came through! The security guys OK'd me to park outside our covered section in an area that bothers nobody. So I paid for the season tickets then went down to pick them up. While I was at it, I bought an Elks golf shirt to wear to the games. The first game is in 2 days against the BC Lions.
I left another message for my guy Sirak at CIBC but he has yet to call me back... I assume he is having trouble acceding to our request....
I was supposed to help Louise install her new air-conditioner today but we both decided to delay it until tomorrow. We had better do it early because there is a heat warning in effect and tomorrow is expected to go up to 34C!
I had a short nap then Bob showed up here and he decided to join me to go to Hudson's on Whyte Avenue for Wednesday Wings.... It was a good decision although the wings were disappointingly puny this time... And I ordered Salt'n'Pepper instead of Lemon Pepper by mistake, but it was still a lovely outing.
Now, I need to go watch Florida take out Carolina on the route to the Stanley Cup....
