We can enjoy one month of lengthening sunny days to the longest day of the year..... and we have two days of light rain to make everything bloom, for which we are thankful.
So, I have basically spent 2 days working on photos, yesterday for my "Dog Wall". I could not find any decent photos of our latest dog, Grande, amongst my own photos, so I had to ask Cristina to send me a couple via WhatsApp. I then chose one, adjusted it, printed it on my color Canon printer, laminated it, and put it on my bedroom wall with the other 12. It is so nice to be able to say "good night" to my doggie pals every night, and then "good morning".
I experimented more with the P1100 camera last night on the puddles of rain reflecting in the next parking lot... I am pleased that they turned out reasonably good too.
The plan to go to Commonwealth Stadium to check for season tickets to the Edmonton Elks got rained out. I will go tomorrow, early afternoon.
Tonight, the Oiler begin another series against the tough Dallas Stars. The pervading fear is that the Stars are too disciplined and powerful for us to beat them this year, and we hope to exploit that fear.... Go Oilers Go...!!!
The common areas for our Manoir downstairs are off limits for about a week as extensive renovations are happening. Today, they seem to have installed phony tile flooring in a dull grey colour which is unimpressive at this point. I guess it will depend on the clean-up after painting the walls to give an objective opinion.... I sincerely hope they did not install real ceramic tile, since a slip and fall by a senior on such a hard surface could have serious consequences.
