The Oilers-Stars game was early at 1pm so we had to watch that first, wishing our Oilers to a 2-1 series lead with a sloppy 6-1 victory.... Please Oilers,.. do the same thing as Game 2 for the next 2 games...
Bob had left early from his place when the score was only 4-1 and I met him at the other end of the High Level Bridge. I went on ahead to save our places at Blues On Whyte. I came to the unwelcome attention of a silly lady cop on a bike who had no idea what a mobility scooter is, or what the laws are.... The clueless dummy wanted me to park mine on the street and I just ignored her. I think her male partner was embarrassed by her ignorance.
We enjoyed a couple of drinks (non-alcoholic for me) and listened to a couple of sets of Leo Martinez in the Alberta sunshine and a nice brisk breeze. It was heaven...
Then we went next door and Bob treated me to beef nachos which we both enjoy a lot. Our favourite server, Emma, was in charge of our section on the outside east patio. So now, we are sated and ready to attack another Jack Reacher novel by Lee Child. There are 30 books in the series and I have 6 left, the last of which I hope the Library will be ordering in as requested.
Spring is finally here and we mean to enjoy it.
