Yesterday and today I am still walking around, confused, stunned and dazed,.. still disbelieving the passing of my younger brother Germain. I truly dread driving alone the 10 hours or so to Radville where a ceremony will be held, with details still to be finalized, but feel that I must. Hopefully we will have time to get packed properly and leave at a decent time and find a place to lay our weary head not too far away.

It is odd to me that I hardly care to drive any more and my car hasn't moved in days, yet I pay exhorbitant insurance for the privilege, and it is a privilege denied to many. I thank the Good Lord for my good health.
Last night, Bob kindly offered the distraction of a delicious Swiss steak supper at his place and watch the better part of the two NHL playoff games... Our Oilers played poorly but pulled their game out in overtime with a 5-4 victory to set another come-from-behind record. There is no doubt that they were lucky to win as they were badly outplayed by Las Vegas.
Late last night I supplied all the photos that I had of my younger brother to the family to use as they see fit.
So, again, to bed late, and late to rise, ..still in a daze and looking for meaningful distractions.
Trying to fire up and sync my laptop for travel and it is being horribly balky as ever.. Grrrr It is really time to upgrade...
The IIHF Men's World Hockey Championship started today so we have more to watch, if we feel up to it. Canada starts play tomorrow.
Still trying to figure out the new P1100 camera. Luckily I have discovered that it accepts the same remote control as the D5600. With a remote or the self-timer, and a tripod, I should get decent photos...
