Sunday December 13, 2015
It was such a nice sunny morning so I was itching to get out, but it took 2.5 hours to get my other half in gear, so we spent the rest of the day enjoying the overcast.
We caught a bus downtown to see if anything was happening and it was pretty quiet.  The only thing that caught our interest was a display of 14 very old photographs on display in Parque Calderon.
We started walking west, but Cristina spotted some nice clothing on display in the Hudson store behind the cathedral, and the doors were open, so we browsed for a while.  We ended up buying a decent leather jacket for Cristina to wear when she accompanies me on Toxic.  Sometimes it can get cool, even if I am breaking most of the wind...  No, not that wind...
Then she was craving ice cream so we each got a cupful and settled on a bench in the park.  I spotted a Tilley hat passing by so I asked this couple if they were Canadian...  Sure enough, Michael and Judith had just moved here from St Catherine's, a stone's throw from my sister's place in Vineland.
Then we decided to walk to San Blas but Cris still wanted another frozen fruit cup for the journey, so for 60c, what the heck...
I hope you enjoy the photos.  That was the day's excitement,   Cheers, Al

Unusual display of very old photos at Parque Calderon.
