The Christmas season in Cuenca is always a surprise. At 8am you can have exploding fireworks along with a small parade going down your street...
Joe's Secret Garden was having its Chicken Piri Piri this evening and they managed to cook most of it in the rear BBQ area to keep the smoke to a reasonable level.
I was accompanied by Cristina and Christian and they thoroughly enjoyed the meal as well as the company of a fellow Colombiana, also married to a gringo.
The Pistacchio Torta was a fabulous dessert to follow the chicken and peppers.
