I am glad it is a Thursday and not a Friday the 13th.... Gorgeous sun in the morning and decidedly cooler in the afternoon.
Yesterday I had another visit from the new redhead on the block.
I didn't go far today, just a couple of blocks to get my phone recharged and see what is happening in the neighbourhood. I caught sight of some graffiti artists doing commission work on someone's corner lot wall. Not my kind of art...
Across the road there are many machines at work to finally pave streets over there. Good grief they have taken forever to accomplish that. And this is the second day that they have done nothing on our street, it is still dug down about 8", just enough to create havoc with everyone trying to get in and out of their garages. Welcome to Ecuador.
The house across the road on the corner, that was demolished starting January 2012 and has been under reconstruction ever since, now has workmen again. It appears the owners have changed their minds about a useless and tiny second floor deck and are demolishing the new interior wall and replacing it with an exterior wall. That house is very strange...
Hope you enjoy the photos. That was the day's excitement, Cheers, Al
The redhead is very pretty. I enjoy the visits. |
