Because Jacquie Lawson Cards would not allow me to use their platform from Colombia this year, when they never had a problem before, over Christmas, etc..., and they were so blase about it that I decided to cancel my subscription, and I am still waiting for my refund.....

I love workmen who show up on time, with their own tools, and know what they are doing.  Our fencing contractors were here right at 8am with everything (almost everything) they needed and got right to work.  Cristina is making 3 more "pens" for the animals with decent metal fencing and it is fascinating how these guys can separate or join different bundles.  And the amount of welding involved, 2 welders going sometimes at the same time, is mind-boggling.

The previous guy, Guillermo, who set up the frame did so many things badly including door latches upside down.  It takes time to fix someone-else's mistakes, but it has to be done.  I had visions that these guys might be done today, but no, they knocked off at 4pm, having only stopped an hour for lunch (again very unusual).  Tomorrow at 8am they will return to finish the welding and install 2 rolling doors.  I am anxious to see that result....

I had to move Tom Thumb's feeder about a foot, but he didn't miss a beat.  I had taken it down to be out of the way of the workmen and Tom cruised by 3 times, so I hurriedly put it outside the enclosure and he was happy.

The other thing I need to mention is how hard my dear wife, Cristina, works every day caring for the menagerie of animals, every day, and she was an absolute dynamo today fixing things and cleaning up all over the yard.   I helped out a lot too, so I know we will both sleep well tonight!

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
