Last evening, I took a walk around the block with my girl Turi to take a photo of the sign selling lots beside our side wall. The lots are mostly 6m X 14m, or 20' x 45", so they are pretty tiny.... It also appears that my neighbour to the north has a weird sliver of land against my wall, so buying the top lot, without buying a good part of that sliver would be useless.... Might be worth investigating though...
I took a few more raindrop shots before watching the under-18 Canadian girls show everyone how to play hockey... My Oilers weren't watching obviously, because they later got shut out,.. at home!!!
My IPTV was buffering like mad last night because of a poor internet signal. So I complained via WhatsApp to Servinet about the inconsistency of their fiber optic signal which should be constant!
Today, I caught one poor photo of Tom Thumb with the P1100, but then got a little lucky... I had both cameras outside and I saw a buzzard circling close by so I stepped out into the yard with the D5600 for some shots.
Merlin calls this buzzard a Lesser Yellow Headed Vulture surprisingly... Then I saw a small hawk in the same area which Merlin confirmed was my favourite Yellow Headed Caracara!!
I showed Merlin 2 different photos of each, to be sure, and the results were the same..... 2 species of yellow-headed birds in the same small airspace...
I had been missing both of these on previous days so I was quite happy to get some decent shots today and identify the buzzard.
Cristina went into Tulua to shop a bit and to pay some in advance for the manufacture and installation of the fencing.
The Servinet technicians just showed up and checked, and, of course, the fiber optic speeds are wonderful!!!! If I had a basement, I would lock those guys inside....
I am anxiously awaiting the Olympics, but am so happy to be able to watch my sports here, especially those amazing under-18 gals who could probably take on any team from the Professional Women's Hockey League!
