Last night, I dropped by the laundry room around 10pm and none of the machines were in use. So I started doing my laundry in 3 machines and a passerby told me we were not supposed to use them after 9pm... Oh well, I finished at 12:30am. I have so many clothes, so I rarely do laundry... I honestly don't know where that energy came from...
My friend Eleanore called me from the hospital with a confused request to deliver her a chair from the physio department... After a few calls, and very helpful hospital personnel, I was told that she was looking for her wheelchair which got left behind in her last transfer from Westlock Hospital. The good news is that they have it safely stored in Westlock with her name on it, and she won't be needing a wheelchair anytime soon, and they will supply one here if she does need one...
My Temu order on behalf of Louise got delivered on time, and they even rang the doorbell this time!
Since I had been up too early this morning, I had a brief nap before bringing Don to On The Rocks to join Bob for Wednesday Wings. This time I took photos of some of their funny neon signs.
Last week I had eaten 30 wings, so I ordered the same this week. The different waitress, Taylor, said she had never seen anyone order 30 wings before.... But this time I needed help from Bob to empty the bowl.
I got home in time to process the photos before heading downstairs to play cribbage again, now that they have finally completed construction in the common area. It doesn't matter that we lost overall, it was fun...
I am still working on the possible trip South to the USA in September, or earlier, now that my original plans to meet Igor will not work out. I looked at the maps, and the mileage involved, and decided that I am better to fly and hopefully do the Salt Lake Flats thing with fellow photographer, Kent Keller, for a couple of days. If I can get shots of birds and wild horses like he gets, I would be very, very happy...
