Well, we finally helped enable two people whose paths have crossed and missed many times over the last 40 years to finally meet.  Tracey found Dawn on Facebook, after having been friends with her siblings and other friends over that time period.

To make things easier, Dawn and I rode down on the Gio to Churchill Square where the Street Performers are situated.  Tracey was having problems with her dog Thor being stubborn, so she came 1/2 hour late without him.

The two girls told stories and reminiscences that most people would not believe, and that I would never repeat, and we had a lot of laughs...  Then we took the funicular down from behind the MacDonald to get to a small cafe in the river valley, directly across from the Edmonton Queen Riverboat.  We each had a special drink called a Raspberry Matcha Mule which was most unusual and tasty, only 1 oz, but certainly enough for our palates on this hot afternoon.  And more stories were told, and more laughs were had.

All in all, it was a great day to be outside with friends, old and new....

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
