Tuesday July 22, 2025

It is not raining but it is still pretty cool out.  The darn Garbage truck came under my window at 6:30am and woke me up, so it wasn't long before I was actually up and doing chores.

The Library actually notified me that they have the final Lee Child "Jack Reacher" book in stock so I have put it on hold...

I picked up Bob at 10am and we went to pick up his new special shoes which are necessary when you only have 1.5 feet and it is tough to keep your balance.

Then we went to the Kingsway Mall Rogers office to try and see the older stout woman who told him he would no longer have any billing problems with them.  He has yet another bill... and the woman is nowhere to be found...  So more frustration and more BS from uncaring Rogers personnel.  We have recommended that he call 211 to get help for seniors and to cry his heart out.

I came back, Took the flower and bee photos below with the D5600, dumped my garbage, then got on my Gio and went out again.  I went by Vinnie's Treasure Shoppe, open 11-4 Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays, so I am always happy to stop in and see their new acquisitions.  Since I have no tunes in my old car, I actually bought 4 CD's for $5.

Then I went to Dollarama and bought snacks and a few sundries.  Now I sure need a nap before I begin another Joseph Kanon book.  Not much for sports tonight....

I hope you enjoy the pictures, all fixed with Topaz AI and PhotoShop.

That was the day’s excitement.
