I don't think that I have ever gone this long without a Blog since I broke my neck in November 2016!
Monday, I was up at 3am to watch Canada's women's soccer team control most of the match against Australia but only have maybe 2 shots that had any possibility of going in.... Such poor finish in the offensive zone, and Australia made them pay dearly 4-0...... I then spent most of the day sleeping and reading.
Tuesday, I was surprised on Fine Art America to be chosen ARTIST OF THE WEEK for the second time by the Greatest Of All Time group! Then the day was spent washing bedding and finishing Book 4 of the Genghis Khan series.
Wednesday was grandson Tyson's 21 st Birthday. There was a rain 3am and I needed to go to Save-On for groceries... In the evening Bob and I rode our Gios to listen to the band Catfish Guru at Blues on Whyte on the patio at the Commercial Hotel. The wind increased and the band moved inside, where they were much too loud to enjoy. We stopped at McDonalds for a quick burger and, of course, the light rain started while we were there, but we made it home easily enough.

Sitting under a speaker is always a bad idea.. |
Thursday, I dedicated myself to try to find out where my new windshield is for my Gio,... without success... Then I tried to contact Service Canada to find out the status of my Guaranted Income Supplement application sent March 14th! No success there either! I slipped out to Dollarama to get some brushed to try to get rid of the flocking backing of my lovely soft Turi blankets. They wreck my furniture, so I need to dedicate myself a day to complete that task now...
Today, I contacted our local MP to track down my GIS problem. They have more pull than I do...
I wanted to show my presence for a bit on Whyte Avenue for my new gig. My usual corner was busy enough, but the overall crowd was light and not terribly cooperative so I called an early night to come home and do all this until 2am.................
Caught a good singer though...
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
