I got a call around 10:30am that my new computer was ready so I went down and was out of there around 11:50am to beat the lunchtime rush.
With great trepidation, I unhooked the old computer and hooked up the new one. The initial things that were supposed to work.. did, surprisingly...
Then I immediately forget where I had kept the programs I needed to re-install, so I was in huge panic mode for a while until I remembered the memory stick sitting on my desk.... I felt like a moron....
So it is now 10:15pm and I am still not done......
To be honest, I am really disappointed so far in the new computer, expecting it to be a whole lot faster, but then probably restricted still by the upload and download speed of my wi-fi... Grrrrrrrrr
Also disappointed with my go-to browser Firefox.... and so far, Topaz AI which needed to load a ton of stuff.....
So I have managed to install several programs, and others I simply need to wait to discuss with the providers to get them tucked in... Enough for now.... I am done for today...
I hope you enjoy the silly pictures. This worked MUCH faster. Yippee!!!
