Sunday, I spent a lot of time (hours..) copying program files from my computer onto the external hard drives to hopefully seamlessly transfer most to the new computer when it is ready.
Then I got busy with a few projects like privacy covering for 1/2 my lower bedroom window to match the rest. And I made holes in the sides of the roof of the Gio to hang large stainless steel carabiner hooks to add extra carrying capacity for groceries, etc. And I fixed up the feet of my recliner too. And I re-mopped my living room floor, trying to get some shine back, but these old floors are almost a lost cause.
Then I really needed to get out in the fresh air, so I went to sit with Bob outside his place and watch the world go by. There is a very busy ice cream place down the block so I got a single cup of vanilla for Bob and a single waffle cone of maple whiskey caramel for me. I was shocked at the bill of $14.18 and then the nerve to ask for a tip for 2 minutes work.... It was good ice cream though.. I had my camera but was not in the mood for pics.
I started a new book once I got back home and read until 2am.
Today was rainy, so I did chores and just went back to bed for most of the afternoon. Then I was bored,.. so I called Bob to invite him for a supper ouside, but he invited me instead for a meatloaf supper at his place and we watched the beginning of the Blue Jays game where they were blowing out the Colorado Rockies, final score 15-1....
Bob also had ice cream sandwiches for dessert and I made my departure in time to do a little grocery shopping before the store closed, mainly because I was out of milk... So I decided to get salad ingredients as well because the trip south is looking like a distant dream now, no word from the photographer in Salt Lake....
I got my cabbages, red and green, and cucumbers, tomatoes and Granny Smith apples. I was shocked to find Granadillas (Passion Fruit) in good shape, so I grabbed 7, not looking at the price, ....$3.49 each!!! My wife was scandalized when I told her the price here!
So now I have things to do tomorrow... And am getting impatient to get my new computer, which I do want to have completely set up before (and IF) I go south..
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
