There was some rain promised in later afternoon when I went on the Gio to The U of A Hospital to visit Eleanore again, again at a new room, way in another corner... I had brought her another book and found her fast asleep, and even a shout from her neighbour in the next bed against my objections failed to wake her. The weather was cool and breezy and threatening rain and I was poorly dressed, so I beat it back home quickly to changed vehicles.
I ran into Terry, another resident who gave me an old Eskimos sticker for my scooter!
Now, I went over to visit Bob and we watched the Blue Jays pull out a squeaker over the Dodgers in Los Angeles.
He made me an awesome sandwich of something called Bavarian Meatloaf slices, with cheddar cheese and tomato, and it certainly was better than bologna... very tasty!
Then we feasted on his thick vegetable soup and a decadent dessert and we were stuffed!
When the game was over, 5-4, I headed home and saw that the rain had held off until I was in my apartment! Lucky me!
