Tuesday night I was still working on setting up the new computer until the wee hours, and then a lot more Wednesday, all day... I took 3 breaks, one to cut up my cabbage, one to make and eat my salad, and an evening ride to visit Bob just to get out of the apartment.
The Telus Wi-Fi signal was unreliable and I had to call Montreal twice, yesterday and today, to complain and get help.
And my Smart Photo Editor, Portrait Pro, Portrait Body Pro, and Landscape Pro needed new token permissions,... plus my Topaz AI was not operating as expected, so I wrote to Anthropics and Topaz for help.
This morning, I got replies from both and, with a lot of patience, I got everything working.... and also got the wi-fi working better.... So now the new computer can show off its strenths and hopefully our photos will be extremely better from now on...
Today was rainy and cool, and it is supposed to be the same tomorrow. I now need a break from sitting at the computer with the intention to make the computer show off the new photo-editing speed and capability! I am even getting the hang of Windows 11........ Whew!!
Congrats to 18-year-old Canadian tennis phenom Victoria Mboko for winning the Montreal tournament a few minutes ago!!!
