So most of today was spent fixing the bases of the perimeter walls, only one of which is technically ours. Cristina really wants to rat-proof the backyard while I don't want any walls collapsing. This also means adding to the base of the eyesore chicken and duck coops....
Carlos2 worked alone most of the day so he will be coming back tomorrow to hopefully finish the work so we can relax. When we couldn't allow the dogs outside for virtually 22 hours, it was very taxing and we did not get much sleep.
This evening, Roger said there was a band competition at the central park so I told him we were going there soon but somehow missed him. We were going there to eat when Cristina informed me that we were meeting a friend she worked with at the candy company Colombina, named Gladis. So we met her and bought her a wonderful Angus burger at the new joint 1/2 block from home called Mamba Burgers. The service was painfully slow but the burger was absolutely delicious!
Right now Cristina is showing Gladis the patio and the backyard here.
Bedtime will be very early tonight....
