Saturday morning, it took me almost 3 hours to put together the new Ikuby Firepit all by my lonesome.  They predicted that 2 people could put it together in about 1 hour, and that might be 1/2 right.  I was taking extra special care to put it together right the first time and only had to re-do one piece.  Having the DeWalt cordless drill and the right attachments sure helped.

Normally, my old type-A personality would have had a fire going by now but I am still awaiting the proper conditions.  And it is the same with the Pressure washer, which I have only fired up the once when I put it all together.

Cris and Sofi had gone to Tulua to buy clothes all afternoon so I had some peace to work with.

Sunday, we ran into Tulua quickly to have lunch and compare BBQ tool prices between Dollar City and HomeCenter.  I was shocked at the high prices at Dollar City and settled for a small kit at HomeCenter for about $13 Cdn.

I spent most of the day fighting with crappy speeds on my laptop as happens every darn Sunday.  I tried to download Gladiator 2 which I saw was new in the theatre here.  I tried to get Cristina's PC to do it and had to download the Opera Browser which did not do the job anyway.  Now I can't get rid of that crappy nuisance program.  I will get it out yet....  Grrrrr

I did get it done on my laptop finally and watched it.  It is a definite pirated copy but worth the look.

Today, I am at 195 lbs and am thrilled!!!!!!!!  Knowing I am not too far from my next goal makes me want to continue on this pace.

I called Roger and he came by to visit his dog Fiona's grave while I copied the Gladiator 2 onto his portable hard drive.  And he is already thinking to BBQ porterhouse steaks on our firepit...

The weather networks sure do seem to get our forecasts screwed up 90% of the time, almost always predicting some rain while we are having blue skies....

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
