Sunday April 30 - Tuesday May 2, 2017
Sunday: Huge relief for Cristina again this morning as her rescued birds came to the windowsill for another visit. Mother Goose is so deliriously happy to be remembered. This is
a big relief to me as well because she is no longer moping about with a long face, worried about her babies....
Sorry if the Subscription service on the right is on the fritz again. You would think that an outfit as big as Google could solve this problem easily but it has been almost a year
of frustration.
Rainy day negated any plans to go walking in El Centro.
Monday: Mixed bag of weather today and it is a national holiday so not much would be open today. Enjoyed Spanish class with Teo today.
SOMEBODY please let me know if the Suscription on the right is working for you..
Tuesday: Cristina is so thrilled to see her rescued birds almost every day now, and to see her happy again makes me happy too.
At physio today I had a different blind guy for massage and it was very gentle and pleasing. I can feel myself getting better, usually first thing in the morning after a good sleep
because of the Gabapent drug, although I certainly don't want to be dependent on any drugs, for anything.
So we did make it downtown because it was a reasonable day after a morning sprinkle. Went to T-Rex to have a couple of hot dogs with Cesar, ran into Regina there, and Cristina picked
up some duds for Mariposa and Turi near the flower market. Then she went shopping at San Francisco and we ran into more friends there. We have a special guy at San Francisco where we usually buy things and he gives us reasonable
discounts. We walked back towards the cathedral and ran into another friend before we really had to open the wallet for Cristina's upcoming birthday.
Once we got home we ran over to a Flores y Dulces (Flowers and Sweets) place on Primero de Mayo. Cristina even came along on Buzzer! This place was recommended by Teo and the place
did not disappoint... not cheap, but delicious chocolates...
The first photo is from the big Canon, while the rest are with the new Lumix (where I have just passed 1,000 photos).
I hope you enjoy the photos. That was the day’s excitement.
Cheers, Al
