Another foggy morning this morning and the tree in front is shedding its leaves in the annual winter ritual.  Tom Thumb is visiting more often because most of the hibiscus trees are devoid of flowers.
I went to the 10am physio this morning but they told me I was finished yesterday.  I guess they did take into account the Monday holiday when calculating the days.  So I went straightaway to my new 11am session next door and they agreed to take me early today.  They started me with the heat pads and the TENS machine but did not hook up one of the electrodes properly and I could not get anyone's attention to correct it.  Then there was a nice massage before going to a new regimen of stretching exercises, mostly for the legs, before I had to crawl around on the mat "like a baby" she said...  It is so hard to explain to someone the painful electrical feeling I get in the knees when kneeling..
Cris went to her doctor's appointment for 1:30 and came home quite unhappy because she has to see another specialist and go through the approval process on Monday.
At 3pm I went for my second neurological massage in a month and went through some painful readjustments of muscles but generally felt better when I left, so we will see how we feel tomorrow...
I got home to rapidly shower and change for another small party only to find that Cris was not feeling well, so I just jumped on Buzzer and went to make an appearance.  The party was being put on by my friend Mary Ann at her city home near the Pumapungo ruins.  The generous spread of food put out by this superlative cook was amazing.  This lady doesn't know how to make an ordinary or bland dish...  And she had a whole table basically dedicated to tacos which drew me like a moth to a flame.  And we won't even mention the desserts that dazzled the tastebuds.  On top of this there were many old friends in attendance that I had not seen in many months.  Thanks Mary Ann for the invitation, and I truly am sorry that I had to eat and run.
Mary Ann also has this lovely Golden dog that is just a sponge for loving and is just the sweetest thing around.  And one guest brought her daughter and grandson.  The little guy with the big dark eyes just made eveyone melt.
I hope you enjoy the photos. That was the day’s excitement.
Cheers, Al

I just love the morning fog here

This is just one of 3 tables of food at Mary Ann's

This is the taco table

The tacos were being guarded by this batch of roses

More roses guarding those scrumptious desserts

Most folks were taking refuge inside
Some of us enjoyed the comforts of the living room

It was a little cooler outside.  See Mary Ann's big dog..

New people outside.  I only one of them outside.

This little guy had everyone's attention

At first he smiled about the flash

Then he wasn't so sure about more flashes...
